Money
Making money is a very important aspect of My Neighbor Alice. It is a challenge for most players, new and more seasoned ones. Whether you are interested in making money in bjorn or Alice, this page will help you with suggestions of how to go about it.
In Game Currency
You will encounter 2 different currencies $bjorn and $Alice, as you progress through the game.
$bjorn Token

$bjorn token, not to be confused with BJORN the happy bear who lives in Lummestad, is an in-game currency that you will use for most of your transactions.
Whether you are replacing your tools for harvesting, refining materials, crafting new clothes, or listing anything on the market, you will need pleanty of $bjorn.
Your $bjorn and in-game $Alice balances will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Sources of $bjorn
Your first, and the most consistent provider of $bjorn is Oli

Oli will be waiting for you daily, actually every 21 hours, with free 17 $bjorn tokens.

He will also provide you with the opportunity to earn another 34 $bjorn tokens and 200 EXP for completing a daily quest.

Oli Buildings
When speaking to Oli you may notice that he also has a tab called Building & Upgrades. Please see image above.
These buildings will provide you with the opportunity of getting more $bjorn tokens and EXP every day.
There are 3 buildings listed and you may buy any or all of them. Each one will cost 5$Alice.

These buildings will be placed on your land and each will provide you with more complex and also more rewarding quests. You will receive 51 $bjorn tokens and 250 EXP. for completing each quest. Much like the regular quests, they will also be available from Oli.
Samples of Oli Building Quests
Quest | Requirement |
Crafter’s Joy | 5 Polished Stone bricks |
Auto-Amazing | 3 Milkweed |
In dire need | 5 Lummel Birchwood |
Left Over Are the Best | 3 Fine Iron |

Pet Fish | 2 Gloomy guppy |
One of the drawbacks of purchasing the buildings that they will wear down with time and will need repair. Once your building wears down to 0, you will need 2 $Alice to repair it.
The buildings can also be upgraded for even more $Alice but once that is done, they will not need repairs as frequently.
Oli and Co-Op Lands
During Chapter One launch a new feature has been added to the game. An owner of a land can go to the homestead tent and allow up to 10 other players to share the land. This allows players access to Oli quests, resources, gardening and landscaping. If the owner has placed Oli buildings on the land, any player who is part of the co-op has access to those quests as well. Since the special buildings quests offer 51 $bjorn each, up to 153 $bjorn can be gathered.

It is advisable that terms of the sharing are spelled out ahead of time, to avoid confusion. The free reward of 17 $bjorn can only be claimed once, so it is usually left for the owner. Who collects resources, plants, landscapes or builds on the land can also be agreed upon prior to accepting members. Those that don’t abide by the terms, can easily be removed by the owner.
Making Money through Sales
There are no NPC within the game who are willing to buy from you. Ivan in Lummestad will sell you lower end items but he will not buy anything from you. You only have 2 choices of how to sell your wares.
Sales through Store Fronts – Global Market
Store fronts which will open up the Global Market exist in every town hub. These markets will provide the opportunity of making money in bjorn or Alice. They can be identified by the shopping cart on your minimap. Each town hub has a store front, but they all show the same listings.

Once you have found a Storefront you can interact by pressing E at the cash register.
This will open up the view of all items up for sale, in both $bjorn and $Alice. To sell an item you need to go to the sell tab located on the left hand side of the screen.

To help with the decision of which price would be the most likely to sell, please visit our Market page.
To create a sale simply fill in the required fields.

Decide
- Which item you would like to sell.
- How much of it you are selling.
- Whether you are selling in $bjorn or $Alice.
- How much you are asking.
Then press Add Listing, followed by Create Listing.
Note: Each listing will have a Listing Fee and Ask Price Fee.
It is important to NEVER allow your $bjorn total to get below 2. If that happens, no one can help by buying anything from you because you will not have enough for the fees. You will have to wait until Oli gives you more $bjorn next day.
To see if your items have sold, you will have to go to any store front. If it has sold you simply collect your money. Items that have not been sold will expire in 72 hours and will also need to be picked up at any storefront.
Private Sales and Fleamarket Stand
You might find it easier to come to an agreement for sale of your goods with individual neighbors through in-game interaction. A Fleamarket Stand is an easy way to list something that can only be seen by players on your lot.
The stand is available to you early on in the game. Once you have completed the game tutorial quests on your land head to Lummestad. There speak to Alice and complete her quests called, So you want to Specialize. This will open up the chance to speak to Ivan, who will offer you the following quest:
Quest: World of Trade
Requirement: Give Ivan 3 Wildweed Linen
Reward: Ticket for Fleamarket and 700 EXP

You can now craft a Fleamarket stand on your crafting table, for the cost of 5 Samara planks, 3 Wildweave Linen, 5 Island Silt Bricks, the Fleamarket Stand ticket, 4 $bjorn. It will take 1 hour to complete crafting.
$Alice Token

Earning $Alice tokens is more difficult in the game, since most starting players have not transferred any of this cryptocurrency to the game. It is however not impossible.
Successfully selling your items for $Alice on the in-game Global Market or making private deals with more seasoned players, will allow you to gain $Alice bit by bit.
To find the best price to list at, check out our Market page, which shows latest listing both in $Alice and $bjorn.
The most lucrative way by far is to join My Neighbor Alice Airdrop, where hard working players are able to gain significant amounts of $Alice in each wave.
It is possible, with time to earn enough $Alice tokens to purchase your own land in the game, or to transfer this cryptocurrency into your bank account.
